Menopause, the Second Spring

Join us for Menopause, the Second Spring, a nurturing and informative retreat designed to create space for yourself, slow down and connect.

This retreat aims to empower women to embrace the transition of menopause with wisdom and strength. Held in a beautifully restored masia (Catalan farmhouse) at the foothills of Montserrat, just 45 minutes from Barcelona, the retreat will take place on May 9-12, 2025, and again on September 5-8, 2025.

✔ Recognizing that every woman´s experience and needs are different, one-on-one sessions with a clinical expert and/or naturopathic practitioner will be offered, as well as the opportunity to develop your own personal menopause management and self-care plan.

✔ Gentle yoga, nature walks, meditation, and creative exercises will provide space for personal reflection and relaxation.

✔ The workshops will cover how naturopathic remedies, hormonal replacement therapy (HRT), nutrition and diet, ayurveda, self-care and lifestyle changes can support the mind and body during this powerful life transition.

• An olive oil tasting among the olive groves

• A guided nature walk through Montserrat Natural Park

• Healthy and organic gourmet meals, that may include meat, fish and dairy. Dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy free. etc. diets can be accommodated if notified in advance. Retreat meals include two lunches, two brunches, three dinners, three days afternoon snacks and all-day tea throughout the retreat.

• Round-trip transportation from central Barcelona to the hotel (45 min. drive)

*No previous yoga experience is required. All activities are optional. Massage treatments are available at an additional cost.

• 3 nights stay in the exceptional Can Farres boutique hotel at the edge of Montserrat Natural Park (single or double occupancy)

• 4 days of workshops led by clinical and holistic experts (GP & British Menopause Society Accredited Specialist, GP & Ayurveda and Cellular Nutrition Practitioner and Yoga for Menopause Accredited Instructor and Mindfulness coach)

• Twice daily yoga and meditation sessions (morning and evening). These will be a mix of yin, yang and yoga nidra

• A session on strength training for menopause

• Two Ayuverda Rasayana (rejuvenation) activities, including a cooking class and self-care skin ritual

• A one-to-one session with one of the three lead experts of your choice to help you develop your menopause care roadmap

Payment & Cancellation Policy

To secure your spot, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at booking.

The second 30% payment is due by March 28, 2025, and the remaining 40% is due by April 9, 2025 (30 days before the retreat).

If you cancel before March 28, you will receive a refund minus the deposit. If you cancel between March 28 and April 8, 50% of your total payment (minus the deposit) will be refunded.

Cancellations made after April 9 are non- refundable but may be transferred to another participant.

If for any unforeseen reason, Moon Jar Retreats cancels the retreat, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future retreat. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
